Luxor and Hurghada Horse Riding Holiday

Day 1: Arrival in Luxor

Welcome to Luxor, known as the world’s greatest open-air museum. Luxor is home to some of the most impressive archaeological sites. The Nile River runs through the city, adding to its enchanting beauty. Meet the team from Desert Dreams and your travel partners. Relax by the pool until dinner time, then meet us to enjoy the pleasant rich tasty food. An Egyptian dinner is like a flavor explosion. The vibrant colors, bold spices, and aromatic herbs come together to create a unique sensory experience. Traditional dishes such as falafel, baba ghanoush, tahina, are all prepared with the freshest ingredients. Take your time to savor each bite and appreciate the special flavors of the region. There is no better way to experience the rich culture of Egypt than through its delicious food.

Day 2: Valley of the King & Hatshepsut and Horse Ride

Start your day off right with a traditional Egyptian breakfast, filled with an array of flavors and textures. After your morning meal, visit the ancient wonders of the Valley of the Kings. Where Pharaohs were laid to rest in grand tombs. As you wander through this sacred valley, you will discover the rich history and mythology. Then you will see one of the most remarkable architectural wonders of Egypt. As you explore the temple, you will learn about its fascinating history and the life of Queen Hatshepsut, who was known for her reign of prosperity. After a morning full of historical sights enjoy your lunch then relax before the afternoon adventure. Meet the horses at the stable. Discover the beauty and grace of Baladi horses, a unique breed that originated in Egypt. With their elegant movements and flowing manes, Baladi horses are a sight to behold. Enjoy the scenery as you ride through the lush landscapes. You will have chances to galop. Return back to the stable with the horses while the sky turns red and orange. Flavorful dinner will be waiting for you at the guesthouse.

Day 3: Sunrise Ride & Karnak Temple

An early wake-up, but with no regrets! Saddle up and head out before dawn. As the first light peeks out over the desert landscape, the eastern horizon is flooded with a gorgeous orange glow. When you arrive in the desert you will be surprised at the view as the Hot air balloons are rising with the sun in the sky. After the ride, your local breakfast will be ready for you. Then relax before heading to the famous Karnak Temple which represents the greatness of ancient Egypt. Have your lunch before meeting your lovely guide. Admire the grandeur of its towering columns and hieroglyphs. Egyptian markets should not be missed. Pick up souvenirs to take home with you. Find unique items, such as vibrant fabrics, spices or antiquities, all for bargain prices. After exploring we will return back to your guesthouse for dinner.

Day 4: Habu Temple & Transfer to Hurghada

​Have your breakfast and prepare for the last ride in Luxor with your favourite horse around the village, stop by Habu Temple. Built during the reign of Ramses III, the temple is filled with hieroglyphics that tell the story of Pharaonic history. After the morning tour return back to your hotel to freshen up and, check out. Enjoy your meal before your transfer, as our next destination is waiting. The road to Hurghada takes us through the desert mountains, so don’t forget to look out of the window while you relax in the car. Welcome to Hurghada! This vibrant city is known for its stunning beaches and crystal-clear waters.

Day 5: Desert Ride

Wake up to the sound of birds chirping, and enjoy your breakfast in your new destination. Today morning you will have some free time, relax by the pool, and spend some time with your new friends. After you had your lunch, then get ready for a sunset ride. Experience the beauty and the serenity of the desert landscape. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky turns shades of pink, orange, and red. It is a magical moment to savor. Fly with your horses, and take super photos and videos. At the end of the day, delicious dinner will be served for you.

Day 4: Boat Trip & Snorkelling

Rise and shine travellers! Enjoy your breakfast with the breeze of the Sea. Then get ready to board a boat to peek into the underwater world. Search for dolphins, and to bask in the sun. You will have the chance to snorkel in the crystal-clear Sea, and explore magical coral reefs and colourful fishes. Lunch will be on board during your trip. Dinner will be served for you in the guesthouse.

Day 7: Swim with Horses & Departure

Have your breakfast with a wonderful view. We will make your last day unforgettable by experiencing the adventure of swimming with horses. Head to the beach, race with your horses the last time, then take off the saddles and ride your horse bareback into the crystal-clear water. The perfect way to finish your adventure in this beautiful country. After the morning trip, refresh yourself at the hotel and check out. 

 

As you say goodbye to Egypt, remember the new friendships you’ve made and the cultural experiences that have enriched your life. Take a moment to look back on your photographs and souvenirs, which will remind you of the incredible adventures you’ve had. Hopefully, we will see you for another adventure.

Please keep in mind that all travelers must have a valid insurance throughout the trip, which covers all the activities
they are undertaking. Liability form to be signed by all travelers prior to the tour/holiday


Tipping is not included, so please calculate in your budget a 75 EUR tip/person, this amount will
be shared between guides, drivers, hotels and stables.

Please note that when making a booking, a 25 % deposit is required which is non refundable in case of cancellation. If cancelled 14 days prior holiday date, 50% is non-refundable.

Date change for riding holidays are subject to availability and extra charges may apply.
