Cairo and Siwa Oasis Horse Riding Holiday
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
As the plane touches down in Cairo, a world of enchantment awaits you. step onto Egyptian soil, where the history and the vibrancy of the present comes together. From the bustling streets to the iconic landmarks. Your adventure begins the moment you step into Cairo's land. Meet the team from Desert Dreams and your travel partners. Enjoy your local meal with the great view of the Pyramids. An Egyptian dinner is like a flavor explosion. The vibrant colors, bold spices, and aromatic herbs come together to create a unique sensory experience.
Day 2: Giza Horse Ride, and Transfer to Siwa
Try some local dishes in the morning, have your coffee and tea then get ready for a riding adventure. Experience an open space desert where several galop opportunities await you. Marvel at the grandeur of the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This ride is on many Equestrians bucket list. No wonder why. Imagine riding through the golden sands with the view of the iconic Pyramids (the ride is 1,5-2 hours). After the ride, we will take you back to your hotel where you can freshen up, have your lunch then get ready to check out and transfer to the magical Siwa Oasis. An 8-hour drive in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus or car, with snacks, and breaks along the way to ensure a pleasant journey. Dinner will be served in Siwa in the guesthouse.

Day 3: Cleopatra's Spring and Sunset Ride
Start your morning with a traditional Egyptian breakfast. Today morning is a free and relaxed one, then later visit, see the famous Cleopatra's Spring. The water rich in minerals, making it ideal for swimming and relaxation.Lunch will be served overlooking the spring.
Enjoy your lunch, then get ready for a horse riding adventure in Siwa.
Dinner will be served at your guesthouse.
Day 4: Ride to Oracle Temple & Sunset Jeep Safari
Try some local dishes in the morning, have your coffee and tea then get ready for another wonderful day. After breakfast we will depart from our guesthouse and we will ride to Oracle Temple where your guide will accompany you to discover the history. This ancient temple is linked to the famous Oracle of Amun. Here ancient seekers sought wisdom, it is believed that pilgrims once traveled from across the ancient world for guidance. After your morning adventure your experienced driver will take you to a desert adventure. A thrilling off road experience. The desert landscape unfolds around you as you drive deeper in the desert, rolling sand dunes, rocky formations and vast expanses of golden sand. Climb the sand dunes and enjoy panoramic views or perhaps try sandboarding.

Day 5: Half Day Desert Ride
Today you will discover the Great Sand Sea on a horseback. Get ready for a 4-5 hours exhilarating riding adventure. Explore stunning landscapes, and witness the natural beauty of this enchanting place.
It is hard to describe the feeling of galloping across the open desert, but you will have the chance to experience this. We just say it here: the ``Yalla`` feeling. When your guide will say this magic word, suddenly the wind rushes past you and you and your horse move swiftly across the endless stretches of sand.
The local horses are called Baladi horses a unique breed that originated in Egypt. With their elegant movements and flowing manes, Baladi horses are a sight to behold. These horses are known for their courage, power, intelligence, and their kind nature and willingness to please. There are so many great stories about how these horses were loyal to their owner. Horses were so important to the Bedouins; they kept the mares in their tents which explains why they are connect with humans on a different level. The best companions for a long desert trail.
Day 6: Ride to the Salt Lakes
Today you will ride to the Salt Lakes. These lakes are known for their high salinity, which allows you lay back and to float effortlessly. The scenery around the Lakes is mesmerising, lush palm trees and greenery with the bright blue and white salt formations. This is more than just fun, the salt has therapeutic effects known for benefiting the skin and the body. It is also believed that it can help relieve various skin conditions and promote relaxation.

Day 7: Visiting Shali Fortress & Transfer to Cairo
Today, before we depart to Cairo, we will visit the Shali Fortress which is a historical significance, it dates back to the 12th century, and was built primarily from local mud brick mixed with salt and sand. As you enter the fortress, you will find yourself amongst a labyrinth and narrow passageways. These passageways were built as a strategy against invaders and to protect the city. The ruins of Shali offers a beautiful glimpse into the past. After our lunch, we will start our journey to Cairo. Your scenic drive will start with the mesmerising Western Desert, then the road continues with seaside towns. This drive also a great chance to remember all the adventure you have had and the memories you have created the last days.
Overnight will be in Cairo Giza.
Day 8: Departure
Have your breakfast, then check out from the hotel.
