Cairo, Luxor and Hurghada Horse Riding Holiday
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
As the plane touches down in Cairo, a world of enchantment awaits you. step onto Egyptian soil, where the history and the vibrancy of the present comes together. From the bustling streets to the iconic landmarks. Your adventure begins the moment you step into Cairo's land. Meet the team from Desert Dreams and your travel partners. Enjoy your local meal with the great view of the Pyramids. An Egyptian dinner is like a flavor explosion. The vibrant colors, bold spices, and aromatic herbs come together to create a unique sensory experience.
Day 2: Giza Horse Ride & Museum and Arrival to Luxor
Try some local dishes in the morning, have your coffee and tea then get ready for a riding adventure. Experience an open space desert where several gallop opportunities await you. Marvel at the grandeur of the Pyramids of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This ride is on many Equestrians bucket list. No wonder why. Imaging riding through the golden sands with the view of the iconic Pyramids. After the ride, we will take you back to your hotel where you can freshen up, have your lunch then get ready to check out and head for the afternoon tour. It is time for you to discover some antiquities from the olden time in Cairo Museum, your private guide will accompany you for this wonderful expedition.
Where you will discover some important collections from ancient years. After this tour, we will take a short internal flight to Luxor. (not included). You will notice full of green areas, a different landscape. Temples, palm trees, banana plantations, sugar cane fields, green fields, and desert. Landscapes of beauty. Take a moment for this scenery. You will be staying in a local family-run guesthouse. Your hosts will greet you with a warm welcome. Arabic people are known for their generosity and hospitality, in these guesthouses you can see it for yourself. An excellently prepared dinnerwill be served for you at the hotel. These dishes reflect the rich culture and history of this ancient land.
Day 3: Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut and Sunset Ride
Today you will discover the Thombs of Pharaohs also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings. See the extraordinary hieroglyphic texts that celebrate the Pharaohs and Gods. Witness how the royals prepared themselves for the next life, and learn about the royal burial grounds. Later visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, her reign is definitely an interesting story to hear about. Walk among the Thombs where once kings and queens did. After a morning full of historical sights enjoy your lunch then relax before the afternoon adventure. Our afternoon ride will take you across the village and sugar cane fields. Where you can watch the sunset and know this is a promise of a new dawn. When the sun is close to the horizon the game begins. Fill up your soul with a piece of art that involves the sun. It will be a good place to take glorious photos, so you can keep this sunset with you. Return back to the stable with the horses while the sky turns red and orange. Flavorful dinner will be waiting for you at the guesthouse.
Day 4: Sunrise Horse Ride & Karnak Temple
Have An early wake-up, but expect it to be eye-catching. Watch the sun rising up slowly and let the first rays of the sun touch your skin. Get into the saddle before dawn and ride out. Witness this beauty, the fresh air, the first lights, which make the Nile River shine. Birds start to sing and fly around the palm trees. Be amazed at how wonderful nature is. When you arrive in the desert you will be surprised at the view as the Hot air balloons are rising with the sun in the sky. After the ride, be pleased with your breakfast and relax before heading to the famous Karnak Temple. Have your lunch before meeting your lovely guide, and go to the ruins of ancient Egypt. Wander around the chapels and pylons, and gain knowledge about this magical place. Get a glimpse of an Egyptian market and show off your bargaining skills. We will return to the hotel for dinner. The local spices add a whole dimension to the taste. Smell the freshly prepared food, sure you are going for another round.
Day 5: Horse Ride & Habu Temple, and Transfer to Hurghada
Have your breakfast and prepare for the last ride in Luxor with your favorite horse around the village, stop by Habu Temple. Visit the gorgeous pylons and hieroglyphs on the wall, some of them are still colorful. After the morning tour return back to your hotel to freshen up and, check out. Enjoy your meal before your transfer to Hurghada. Feel the breeze of the Sea as you get out of the car. Enjoy the soothing sound of the water as you savour a delicious meal.
Day 6: Snorkelling & Sunset Ride
Rise and shine travelers! A fresh day means new places to discover. We are going to board a boat to peek into the underwater world, search for dolphins, and to bask in the sun. You will have the chance to snorkel in the crystal-clear Sea, and explore magical coral reefs and colorful fishes. After a lovely morning tour, have your lunch, then get ready for a sunset ride. The local horses are known for their power beauty and intelligence. Warnings - easy to fall in love. Admire the desert landscape as it turns into red and orange tones at dusk. Witness how the sun sets between the mountains. Fly with your horses, and take super photos and videos. At the end of the day, delicious dinner will be served for you.
Day 7: Swim with Horses & Departure
Have your breakfast with a wonderful view. We let some great fun for you before your departure. Today you will have a chance to swim with horses, this activity is on many people’s bucket lists no wonder why. Splash into the crystal clear water. Ride your horse bareback, and lead them into the Sea. After the morning trip, refresh yourself at
the hotel and check out. As you say goodbye to Egypt, remember the new friendships you’ve made and the
cultural experiences that have enriched your life. Take a moment to look back on your photographs and souvenirs, which will remind you of the incredible adventures you’ve had. Hopefully, we will see you for another adventure.
