DAY 1 - ARRIVAL

As the plane touches down in Cairo, a world of enchantment awaits you. step onto Egyptian soil, where the history and the vibrancy of the present comes together. From the bustling streets to the iconic landmarks. Your adventure begins the moment you step into Cairo's land. Meet the team from Desert Dreams and your travel partners. Enjoy your local meal with the great view of the Pyramids. An Egyptian dinner is like a flavor explosion. The vibrant colors, bold spices, and aromatic herbs come together to create a unique sensory experience.

DAY 2

• Horse riding for 2 hours.

Try some local dishes in the morning, have your coffee/tea then get ready for a riding adventure. Your driver will take you to a stable where you will meet the horses for your trip. You will be riding mixed Arabians and local breeds. These
horses are known for their courage, power, and intelligence, so easy to fall in love with them. There are so many great stories about how these horses were loyal to their owner. Horses were so important to the Bedouins; they kept the mares in their tents which explains why these horses connect with humans on a different level. Ride along the ancient land, and admire the view of the Pyramids. Take fascinating photos, race in the desert, and experience the joy of this trip. After your ride, we will take you back to your hotel where you can freshen up, have your lunch, then get ready for the afternoon tour. It is time for you to discover some antiquities from the olden time in Cairo Museum, your private guide will accompany you for this wonderful expedition. You will discover some important collections from ancient years. Later, get a glimpse of the old town of Cairo. Celebrate this full day with flavorful Egyptian dishes. Wonder about the greatest mystery on the planet while looking at the Pyramids in the night light.

DAY 3

• Transfer to Fayoum.

• Full-day Jeep Safari to Wadi El Hitan.

• Camping

Wake up to a lovely morning, and try some local food for breakfast before the adventure begins. We will make our way to Fayoum. We are going to drive into the desert, be ready for a full-day desert tour by a 4x4 vehicle. During the day visit Wadi Al Hitan also known as the Valley of the Whales. This is an incredible open-air museum for whale fossils. This area used to be underwater 40 million years ago. After spending some time here and discovering some museum pieces, we will drive to Magic Lake, the water is surrounded by sand dunes. Take off your shoes and let your bare feet touch the warm soft sand. Lunch will be served in the desert. A full day of beautiful landscapes. Also, great fun driving over big sand dunes while driving to your night camp, here you will spend the night enjoying your meal. Watch the sun go to sleep. Sunsets are special already, but have you seen one in Egypt? You can sense the magic around you when it happens. Relax by the fire, allow yourself to disconnect, and watch out for shooing starts. Stargazing is a way of discovering ancient
methods of navigation. There is a unique sense of peace at night. Drift off to sleep to the sound of burning embers.

DAY 4

• Pottery factory visit.

• Horse riding (2 hours).

• Accommodation in Fayoum.

Get up to the sound of dawn, have your tasty breakfast, and drive back to Fayoum where we are going to stay in an authentic guesthouse. Upon arrival you will understand the welcome of the Arabic people, they will make you feel like you are at home, and you will never get hungry or not drink enough tea. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake and the desert. Your hosts will spoil you with gorgeously plated dishes. When our lunch break is finished, we are going to visit a pottery factory run by a family, here you can see and practice how to make plates, mugs, and decorations from clay. Later on the afternoon we will saddle up and ride around the village. Closing of this day will be a delicious dinner at your guesthouse.

DAY 5

• All meals.

• Horse riding (4 hours).

• Accommodation in Fayoum.

Another delightful morning. The sun has risen slowly on the endless desert. What a view while enjoying your breakfast. Get ready to drive back to Fayoum, on the way back you have one more chance to catch sight of the beautiful area. Lunch will be served at the guesthouse, then the riding adventure begins. Take the road to the desert. Watch a beautiful sunset as it melts across the horizon. Fall in love with the colors of sundown. Return back from the tour and have your dinner with spices
used in the traditional cuisine of Egypt.

DAY 6

• All meals.

• Horse riding (5-6 hours).

• Transfer back to Cairo.

• Accommodation in Cairo

Another delightful morning. The sun has risen slowly on the endless desert. What a view while enjoying your breakfast. Get ready to drive back to Fayoum, on the way back you have one more chance to catch sight of the beautiful area. Lunch will be served at the guesthouse, then the riding adventure begins. Take the road to the desert. Watch a beautiful sunset as it melts across the horizon. Fall in love with the colors of sundown. Return back from the tour and have your dinner with spices
used in the traditional cuisine of Egypt.

DAY 7

• Breakfast.

Wake up for the view of the Pyramids. Enjoy your Egyptian breakfast with the sight of the olden time before checking out. 

As you say goodbye to Egypt, remember the new friendships you’ve made and the cultural experiences that have enriched your life. Take a moment to look back on your photographs and souvenirs, which will remind you of the incredible
adventures you’ve had. Hopefully, we will see you for another adventure.

Please keep in mind that all travelers must have a valid insurance throughout the trip, which covers all the activities
they are undertaking. Liability form to be signed by all travelers prior to the tour/holiday

Tipping is not included, so please calculate in your budget a 75 EUR tip/person for a week holiday. This amount will
be shared between guides, drivers, hotels and stables.

Please note that when making a booking, a 25 % deposit is required which is non refundable in case of cancellation. If cancelled 14 days prior holiday date, 50% is non-refundable.

Date change for riding holidays are subject to availability and extra charges may apply.

You can now split the cost of your holiday into 3 equal instalments over 3 months. If you choose this option the first payment would be your deposit payment.
